How It Works
Patients, using a link provided via e-mail on their mobile devices or computers, they can explain their child’s symtpoms, do a virtual physicial evaluation, review prior imaging, and receive medical care by a fellowship trained physician. Doctors will consult with patients via audio and video in real time.

Before the Appointment
Any necessary paperwork will be sent to you to complete via DocuSign to complete. You can email our office a copy of your driver’s license and insurance card to help@chortho.com.

We use ‘My Medical Images’ to manage your child’s imaging files such as X-ray, MRI, or CT scan. We import the images into our PACS system for the physician to review. Use this secure form below to safely upload your child’s medical images.

Q: How do I schedule a Telemedicine appointment?
A: Currently, patients call our Scheduling Department to schedule a Telemedicine visit. Our online scheduling platform does not offer this option at this time. We can be reached at (727) 898-2663.
Q: Is there an extra cost for a Telemedicine appointment?
A: No, there is not an extra cost. We bill insurance using the same codes as an in-person visit.
Q: What kind of device do I need to participate in a Telemedicine appointment?
A: The concept behind Telemedicine is for your doctor to see you and your injury, and discuss treatment options. You must use a device that can make phone calls, has video capabilities, a microphone and audio. Your mobile phone, your computer, or tablet are all acceptable methods.
Q: Will I need Wifi?
A: Yes- WiFi is required.
Q: What type of treatments are provided?
A: Your provider can order testing such as MRI, CT, and X-rays. Treatments including injections, physical or hand therapy, prescription medications and bracing can also be ordered.

A: Typically, you can expect your visit to last 10-20 minutes.
